There’s something sacred about a gloomy day. About snuggling deeper into the covers, perhaps padding softly down the hallway in your socks to make a cup of steaming coffee before returning to your warm, dream-drenched sheets. Reading a bit, snoozing a bit. Hopefully indulging in a little cheeky cuddle if you’re lucky. This, however, doesn’t last for long if you have dogs to walk. I threw my camera over my shoulder before I went out on my windy walk this morning, and man am I glad I did so. I love me a moody image and according to my cousin in sunny London, it looks like we’re in the midst of a Norwegian thriller. What are your plans for this Baltic day? I’m currently stuck into A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin and with every turn of the page I grow more and more envious of his fabulous storytelling skills. I’m also still battling a little with this cold so am trying to keep as warm as possible whilst sucking on a bottle of Echinaforce. I promised myself I would pack at least three boxes today. And here I am… writing a blog post. Lol.
Have a happy weekend x
Your new space is just so lovely! I’m so happy to have moved across here!
Sox and I headed to Stellenbosch today and we both said how much we love Stellies in Winter – it’s so beautiful and moody!

Hello Keri,
Your new space is lovely! I’m quite a new reader who has fallen for and admires your candid writing. You are inspiring me to do more of the things I love and in so doing become a more conscious contributor to the blogosphere.
